I then went into the kitchen to look for something to eat. I checked in the fridge and found a loaf of sliced bread I also checked in the cupboard and saw a tin of milk, sugar and coffee. I made myself a cup of creamy coffee and settled in the sitting room to eat my breakfast. After my breakfast, I went to my bag and took out my books to read, I read for about 2 and half hours when I looked up it was already 2.30 pm and suddenly I heard the sound of a car entering the compound went to the window to peep and saw it was my maths teachers car I immediately dropped everything I was doing and rushed outside to give her a big hug and a warm French kiss.
When I did this she said to me what’s wrong with you boy and I said to her it’s because I missed you a lot. And she said to me I haven’t been gone for long now, looking at her watch to see that it hasn’t been up to 5 hours she left me in the house and I told her that being away from her for 5 hours looks like five months. She smiled and said you are not serious then threw me the car keys and told me to bring out the things in the car. I went and brought out all the things (food stuffs) in the trunk. I then looked in the passengers sit and saw two buckets of ice-cream one chocolate and the other vanilla I took the food stuffs to the kitchen and placed them where they ought to be while she was showering in the bathroom. I then took the ice cream and put it in the freezer When I was done with the work, I met her in the sitting room going through my books paying special attention to the mathematics which I was solving.
When I cleared my throat, she looked up to me and asked oh you are done? And I said yes. She then sat me down and asked me why I was solving the next term work? And I said because I wanted to be ready for it. And she asked again are you done with this current terms work? And I said yes and flipped to the pages where I had solved all the current terms topics. Then she said Nic I have never met anyone like you before in my life.
I asked her what she meant by that she ignored my question and asked me have you eaten? I then told her that I had had breakfast but was waiting for her to come home to cook lunch. She then stood up and went into the kitchen and prepared a delicious meal of pounded yam and egusi soup.
When she was done cooking she wanted to serve the meal in two separate plates but I told her not to instead telling her to serve it in one plate. She served the food and we sat down in the parlour on the floor to eat. And we were doing feed me I feed you until the food was finished. I then told her that that was the best pounded yam and egusi soup I have ever eaten apart from my mums. She laughed and then punched me playfully and said go back to your mum if you want to eat anything else. And I told her I can’t since I’m in her house.
