All wrapped in one he was so many sins. Would have done anything everything for him. And if you ask me I would do it again. No need to imagine. 'Cause I know it's true. They say “all good boys go to heaven”. But bad boys bring heaven to you...
***

I opened the back door and no one was there. I walked to the front of the car and hopped onto the hood. Laying back, I closed my eyes and took a few deep breaths. After a few moments the back door of the club burst open.

“What do you mean you lost her? You were just with her!”

“She said she had to pee and I don't want to hear anything out of you. We're always supposed to be on point, ready for anything but your were too busy with your tongue down that blondes throat!”

I didn't speak as they argued. I stayed on the car, staring up between the two buildings.

“Seriously, dude-” Lance stopped abruptly. “Lyla?”

“Where?” Jaxon snapped. I heard footsteps approach me and I still didn't move. I didn't blink. I didn't breathe.

“Lyla?” Jaxon said, panic evident in his voice. “Lyla, baby.”

My heart fluttered at baby but I quickly scolded myself. He's a liar.

He grabbed my hand.

“What's a capo?” I said into the darkness.

Neither of the men spoke. I sat up and looked at them. They were stiff. Jaxon was staring at me and Lance at him. Both sets of eyes were wide.

“What does my father do?”

“Lyla,” Jaxon began.

“Do not fucking lie to me. What does my father do and what the fuck is a capo?”

“Let's get in the car. This is no conversation to have in an open alleyway.”

“Do you swear to tell me if I get in the car?” I asked like a child.

“Lyla.”

“Don't you dare scold me like I'm a child. I'm not a fucking child. I'm a grown ass woman. Start treating me like one or I swear I will walk my ass to the airport and fly right back home.”

“Okay,” he muttered. I was taken aback at how quickly he gave in. I was expecting more of a fight.

He picked me up by my hips and pulled me off the car. I expected him to put me down but he didn't, he placed his hands under my ass and my legs wove around his waist on instinct. He placed me in the backseat and got in next to me. Lance started the car and pulled away from the club.

“What does my father do?” I asked again.

I saw Lance look back at Jaxon through the mirror.

“If someone doesn't start talking,” I warned.

Jaxon turned in his seat and looked at me.
“Your father was supposed to have told you this a long time ago. The longer he waited, the harder it was. So he opted for never telling you and made us swear to secrecy. But, obviously you've figured some stuff out somehow-and we'll get to that later-so I have to tell you.” I nodded, urging him to continue. “Your father is the Boss.”

“Jaxon-”

“Wait, Lyla. Let me talk,” he said, sternly.
I stopped talking.

“Your father is the Boss. He is the Boss of the Mafia.”

I choked on my spit. “What?”

“He's a Mafia Boss.”

I didn't speak. I shook my head. “No. That's not possible. He's a good man.”

“Yes. He is but that doesn't mean he's not a powerful and dangerous man as well.”
“He would never-”
“Yes he would. He has.”
I shook my head again. “Okay, well then where do you fit into this? Both of you? What is a capo?”
“A capo is a member of the mafia family who heads over a crew of soldiers.”
“And that's what you are?” I asked.
He nodded.
“What about Lance?”
“I'm one of Jaxon's soldiers,” he said from the front.
“So you aren't really my bodyguards?”
“Well, yes, but we aren't just bodyguards. The bodyguard thing happened after your father got a threat from a former mafia member.”
I couldn't breathe. I needed out.
“Let me out.”
“Lyla-”
“Let me out now. I can't breathe.” Lance pulled over and I fell out of the car. I vomited on the sidewalk. I felt Jaxon pulled back my hair and rub my back. I jerked away from him.
“Please don't touch me.”
“Lyla.” He reached out for me again.
“No. Don't touch me. I want to go home.”
“We can't go back.”
“Why?”
“People are trying to take you.”
“How do I know you aren't lying? Everything has been a lie so far.”
He looked at me. “Not everything,” he whispered.
I didn't say anything. I got back in my seat and Lance began driving again. I pushed myself as far into the door as I could.
“How many?” I asked as Lance pulled into the garage.
“What?” Jaxon asked.
“How many people have you killed?”
“Lyla.” Lance warned.
“I thought you were a good man.”
He didn't say anything. His head dropped and his shoulders slumped.
“No,” Lance said firmly, turning in his seat. “Don't you dare make him a bad guy, Lyla. He has protected you and had to make a lot of difficult decisions to do so. We all have. Not telling you was not a mistake. It was a way to keep you safe. The less you knew, the better. Your father and Jaxon made a decision to keep you out of this life because they were never given that option. I joined the mafia. Your father was born into it and Jaxon was forced.”
My mouth dropped open. “What?”
“He's telling the truth,” Jaxon whispered.
I looked over at him. He looked completely broken and vulnerable sitting there with his head hung low. He was wringing his hands together, clearly upset.
“Lance,” I said quietly. “Leave us.”
He looked at me for a moment before nodding. “Yes ma'am.”
He got out of the car and I heard the garage door close. The car became dark. I placed my hand under Jaxon's chin and pulled his head up. I couldn't see much but there was enough light for me to see his eyes. They held so much pain and sadness.
“What happened?”
“What do you mean?”
“Why were you forced into this life?” I whispered.
“The kid who killed my family, I went after him. I murdered him.” He shook his head, tears threatening to spill. “I regret it every single day of my life, Lyla. I need you to know that.”
I nodded. He looked down before continuing.
“Anyway, he ended up being the son of one of your father's men. He wanted me killed for killing his son. I don't blame him. But, your father cut a deal. It was a deal that saved my life but also forced me to become apart of the mafia. I had to serve the man. As a soldier, as a slave.”
“How are you a capo now then?”
“One night, in a drunken stupor, he asked why I did it. Why I killed his son. So I told him what happened to my entire family. He said that he understood why I did it. Although, it was hard to make out his words. I had broken his heart by telling him that.” He shook his head. “But, he let me out of servitude. Told me that I was free to go but I had nowhere to go. So, I bargained with your father and became a mafia soldier. Your father kept a close eye on me. He called me to his office one day and said that I was powerful. More powerful than a kid my age should be. He made me a capo then and there. That's when I met Lance.”
I nodded.
We stayed silent for a moment. I felt horrible for what I said to him and how I acted.
“I'm sorry,” I whispered. “I overreacted.”
“How did you find out Lyla?”
I shook my head. “Not now,” I whispered.
“Lyla-”
I leaned in slowly and placed my lips on his. He stayed stiff. I pulled away.
“Jaxon,” I whispered. I saw his defense breaking down as he stared in my eyes.
I leaned in slowly again when his hands gripped my face and crushed my lips to his. I moaned into his mouth as his tongue worked it's way inside. I moved toward him, straddling him. He moaned against me as I began grinding.
“No,” he groaned. “Not here.”
I nodded against him, breathless, and he opened the car door. He picked me up by my ass and my legs wrapped around him. He groaned. He pushed me against the door to the kitchen. He grinded his member against my bottom half and I let out a loud moan. My head fell back against the door as he kissed my neck. He walked us through the house, not a soul in sight. I silently thanked Lance, knowing he got rid of everyone. We made it to his bedroom and he dropped me on the bed. I immediately jumped up.
“Wait!” My breathing was heavy and erratic.
I held my hand up as he stalked toward me.
“Lyla, I don't think I can stop now.”
“I don't want you to stop. Just give me one second. Okay? One second. I have to, uhm, pee.”
I ran to the bathroom and grabbed the fishnet tights from under the sink. I pulled them up and pulled my clothes off quickly. I opened the door and peeked out. He was looking out the window, his hands running through his hair. His back was so sexy. His suit jacket was thrown on the chair, leaving him in his white button down. I could tell from his reflection that his tie was loose.
I opened the door wider and walked out. I saw my reflection in the mirror and may I just say, wow.
He caught my eyes through the glass. He turned around quickly and my mouth dried. His eyes slowly ran the length of my body. I felt the air around us become thick and heavy.
I left my heels on, knowing he would love it. He stalked toward me slowly.
“I don't remember packing that,” his voice was dark.
“You like?” He didn't reply as he growled loudly and his body crashed into mine. He crushed me against the wall, his mouth devouring mine.
He picked me up and we both fell on the bed. The weight of his body on mine was nothing short of phenomenal. His hard body grinded against me, causing me to moan. I ran my hands up his abs, feeling them ripple with each movement.
“You're so sexy,” he said against my neck.
He rubbed himself against my most sensitive area and I moaned.
Suddenly the door bust open and Lance was there, wide eyed with a gun in his hand.
“What the fuck, Lance?” Jaxon yelled.
“We're under attack.”
